1. Who we are

FYHR ("FYHR", "we", "us", or "our") is a free tool operated by FixYourHR. By accessing or using FYHR (the "Service"), including any maps, comparisons, chats, or pages generated by it, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What FYHR is — and isn’t

FYHR uses large language models and publicly available occupational data (including O*NET) to generate illustrative snapshots of how AI may affect a given job title. Output is produced algorithmically and may be incomplete, out of date, biased, or simply wrong.

FYHR is not career counseling, legal advice, employment advice, financial advice, hiring or firing guidance, an HR decision-support system, or a substitute for professional judgment. Do not rely on it to make employment, hiring, compensation, redundancy, or other consequential decisions.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Submit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or infringes anyone’s rights;
  • Generate maps for fictional, illegal, joke, or impersonating titles, or to circumvent our guardrails;
  • Identify, profile, or target real individuals;
  • Scrape, mirror, resell, or redistribute the Service or its outputs at scale;
  • Reverse engineer, probe, or attempt to extract our prompts, models, or infrastructure;
  • Overload, disrupt, or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or security controls;
  • Use the Service to train another AI model or to build a competing product.

We may rate-limit, block, or remove content or users at our sole discretion, with or without notice.

4. Your inputs and generated content

You are responsible for everything you type into FYHR. Don’t submit personal data about other people, confidential information, trade secrets, or anything you don’t have the right to share.

You grant FixYourHR a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, analyze, and display your inputs and the resulting generated content for the purpose of operating, securing, improving, and promoting the Service (including aggregated, anonymized analytics and public sharing of generated maps via shareable links).

Generated maps may be publicly accessible by URL. Do not include anything you wouldn’t want a stranger to see.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, copy, branding, scoring rubric, prompts, and the FYHR and FixYourHR names and logos, is owned by FixYourHR and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may share links to generated maps and quote short excerpts with attribution to FYHR. Any other reuse requires our prior written permission.

6. Third-party data and services

FYHR incorporates data from third parties such as O*NET and routes requests through third-party AI providers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, terms, availability, or accuracy. Their respective terms may also apply.

7. No warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixYourHR disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, reliability, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, current, suitable, or appropriate for any particular use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will FixYourHR, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, or employment, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

FixYourHR’s total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to EUR 50, or, if greater, the amount you paid us to use the Service in the twelve months before the claim (which, for the free Service, is zero).

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FixYourHR and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your inputs or generated content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any feature) at any time, without liability. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at FixYourHR’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at FixYourHR’s place of establishment for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
